Shipboard Employment

Patriot is currently accepting résumé for Chief Mate/Master and Engine Licensed Officer positions for its vessels in Reserve Operating Status (ROS).  Two of these vessels are located in New Orleans, LA, two are located in Baltimore, MD and one is located in Jacksonville, FL. In addition, the “Watson class” LMSR USNS Watson will soon transition to ROS status in Norfolk, VA.

Individuals taking these positions may be considered for future openings aboard Patriot’s other managed vessels including the Watson Class gas turbine LMSRs, the SLNC Pax product tanker and the MarAd Ready Reserve Force vessels in Alameda, California. (See below employment information)  All applicants must have or be able to obtain the following requirements:  MSC-required training, a secret clearance, membership in a Patriot-contracted union, and proper USCG unlimited endorsement(s). Applicants must also meet MSC’s medical requirements.  We ask that licensed officers wishing to apply for employment on these ROS positions download and fill out our Résumé Data Sheet (either electronically or by hand), then email it to PatriotEmployment@asmhq.com.  You can do that by clicking on the Word document link below.  That form includes the information that we will need from you, and is our preferred method of receiving your resume information.  If you already have a résumé prepared, however, you may send that to us instead of filling out our form, but we ask that you double-check your resume to be sure that it provides all of the information that the form asks for.
