Patriot Maritime Compliance, LLC is a regulatory and technical consulting firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Our professional staff has extensive expertise in all facets of shipboard and facility operations, Port State Control issues, surveys, and pollution prevention and response. Our personnel offer the most comprehensive experience that is currently available in the application of IMO and U.S. Coast Guard requirements to the commercial shipping industry.

PMC enjoys close working relationships with both international and U.S. Port State Control Authorities and carries out vessel vetting inspections, U.S.C.G. Port State Control pre-Inspections, Incident Command System (ICS) Plan development/training and implementation, Qualified Individual and Spill Response Services, and also training, certification and maintenance for compliance with International Safety Management Code (ISM) and the ISO 9000 Quality System.

Today's ship owners, managers and operators find that ever-changing and diverse regulatory issues are increasingly difficult to contend with as they attempt to maintain profitability. PMC exists to simplify the regulatory process and increase your profits. When properly applied and administered, the unique program that we design for your vessel or fleet will ensure compliance with the overwhelmingly complex regulations brought forth by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90), ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, U.S. Coast Guard and individual coastal states, and will help your fleet maintain its schedules. Additionally, PMC will act in a liaison capacity when issues arise regarding Classification Societies and Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs.

Penalties and delays imposed by the U.S. Coast Guard or other regulatory entities could cause severe financial burdens or the possible loss of a charter, and could also lead to a downward spiral of Port State Control problems for your fleet. A compliance program designed by PMC will bring your fleet into compliance and demonstrate your commitment to safety and operating standards.

Our personnel are at your disposal 24 hours a day to ensure your fleet is prepared to deal with and overcome any problems that arise in port or underway, offering a proven solution in an efficient and cost effective manner. You will find our personnel to be professional, responsive and innovative, while our competitively priced services offer the best value available.
